How to Measure Your Aim Training Progress

Whether you're grinding KovaaK's, Aim Lab, or warming up in-game, tracking your mechanical statistics is crucial to breaking plateaus. Our aim stats calculator helps you understand your baseline performance and measure incremental growth.

  • Accuracy (%): Your total hits divided by the number of targets presented. High accuracy (90%+) indicates you have good mouse control but may need to push your speed. Lower accuracy (under 80%) means you should slow down and focus on precision.
  • Time-to-Kill (TTK): The average time it takes you to transition to a target and successfully click it. Measured in milliseconds (ms), a lower TTK means faster target acquisition and better flick aim.
  • Kills Per Second (KPS): The raw speed output of your aim session. It tells you exactly how many targets you are destroying every second on average.
  • Improvement Rate (%): By inputting your previous high score or average hits, you can see exactly how much you've improved in your current session compared to the past.

Why Time-to-Kill (TTK) Matters in Aiming

While accuracy is easy to understand, Time-to-Kill (TTK) is often the separating factor between good players and pro-level aimers. In tactical shooters like CS2 and Valorant, fights are decided in milliseconds.

A lower average TTK in your aim trainer translates directly to winning more 1v1 duels in-game. To lower your TTK, focus on eliminating "micro-corrections"โ€”the small adjustments you make after an initial flick lands slightly off-target. Practicing straight, smooth lines from your crosshair directly to the target is the fastest way to drop your TTK.

Setting Goals for Mouse Control

Different scenarios require different goals. For clicking (static dots), push for 95%+ accuracy before trying to go faster. For tracking scenarios (smoothness and reactivity), a good benchmark is 60-70% accuracy depending on the difficulty of the bot's movement profile.
